This year we are losing about 20% of our staff. 10% are retiring. 10% are leaving for less expensive parts of the country and one wants to work closer to home. Hey, in case no ones noticed, LOL, gas has gotten prohibitively expensive.
I've notice that those who are retiring have started to look younger. Thats right, some look 10 or more years younger. I've decided its because their faces are relaxed. When day-to-day irritations come their way, they just smile or shrug it off. Nothing seems to bother them the closer they get to day zero or is that the first day of the rest of their lives.
Perhaps thats the secret to life, live like you are to retire/reach financial freedom in the next couple of months or weeks. No worries. Keep everything in perspective.
